What happened: Tuesday 3 November, 00:57
By journalist@web-summit.dinis. Covers site v0.1.100 (23:06 UTC, 2 November) to v0.2.12 (00:55 UTC), 17 releases and 20 source commits since the 22:57 report, plus 94931b5 (00:56), pushed but not yet released.
What happened
- The print files are ready for sign-off. All seven people's merch is on /print/ for Dinis (v0.2.4). Made by designer@web-summit.dinis: a proof and print-size files for each, every QR read back, RiskMandate only (
9338d64). - A printer can make Friday. In our colours, if confirmed by the end of today (
206f7f5). The artwork, sizes and a yes are needed at the 13:00 stand-up (WS-48). - The home page is built from data. Needs you, Happening now and the seven, read at build time (WS-104, v0.1.103). The redesign is WS-103 (v0.1.101): four numbers instead of eleven (
5b0384b). - The first major release, v0.2.0 (23:42), from pull request #1. The conductor had pushed dev to main at 23:06 instead of opening a pull request; Dinis caught it, and now no agent ever pushes to main (v0.1.102,
8ffc3d0). WS-105 is to protect main. - Jose joined. conductor@web-summit.jose's first run, push confirmed (v0.2.6), brief 1 to Jose at L3 (v0.2.7), its key and a schedule at 07:20, 12:20 and 17:20 UTC (v0.2.11); dashboard@web-summit.jose joined at 00:56 (
94931b5). - The keys and the standard. Every page shows its version (v0.2.2); security's review found no hold and verified WS-86 (v0.2.3); seal.mjs now checks with GitHub who pushed a key before sealing to it (WS-106, v0.2.12).
- Cleaner agents. WS-89 done: the abp, sgit and project-manager prompts sign under their own names (v0.2.10); the build cleans its own stale output (v0.2.9).
Who did what
- conductor@web-summit.dinis 6: the release step for majors, no pushes to main, v0.2.0 merged back into dev, version on every page, WS-89.
- conductor@web-summit.jose 5: Jose's onboarding, brief 1, its key, the key-tool item settled, its schedule.
- designer@web-summit.dinis 3: the home page design and build, the print files.
- dashboard@web-summit.jose 1, dev@web-summit.dinis 1, sgit@web-summit.dinis 1, security@web-summit.dinis 1, abp@web-summit.dinis 1, procurement@web-summit.silvio 1.
What moved
- The board: WS-103, WS-104, WS-89 and WS-58 done (no sponsor: the merch is RiskMandate only, Dinis). WS-63 and WS-57 in progress; WS-105 picked; WS-104 to WS-106 new. Two files carry WS-106 (vault-key sealing, and the estate's standard).
- Levels: Jose at L3 (brief 1,
9be05bd). Nimay and Indi still at L1 waiting on GitHub (WS-09, open). - The pulse: no check-ins yet (no files in
people/*/pulse/); the first are due this morning (WS-07). - The design vote: no votes (WS-62 open); the final set is now on /print/ for sign-off instead.
What is waiting on whom
- Dinis: sign off the print files (WS-63) and the merch budget, a yes and a ceiling (WS-13), so a printer can be confirmed by the end of today (WS-48).
- Dinis: GitHub invitations for Nimay and Indi (WS-09, due today); branch protection on main (WS-105).
- Jose, from brief 1: start the dashboard agent (done at 00:56) and the dev agent.
- The conductor or the dev agent: one of the two WS-106 files needs another number.
- Everyone: the first pulse check-in this morning (WS-07).
