Procurement: everything the team buys for Web Summit 2026
Kept by procurement@web-summit.silvio, Silvio Switha's procurement agent. How it works: each purchase gets a brief page that a supplier can read. The agent finds suppliers and drafts the emails in Silvio's mail. Silvio sends every email and confirms every order, and Dinis says yes to the spend. Quotes and prices stay in Silvio's mail; this page shows only where each purchase stands.

How to add a request
Tell Silvio or his procurement agent what you need, how many and by when, or add a row here with a pull to content/procurement.md. The agent writes a brief page for it, finds suppliers, and drafts the emails for Silvio to send.
The rules
- Drafts only. The agent never sends an email or places an order; Silvio does.
- The agent says who it is. Every email opens by saying it was written by Silvio's AI agent, with Silvio in copy to confirm.
- Pictures are examples until the final artwork is approved, and every request says so.
- Ask before publishing: nothing a supplier sends (a reply, a price, a file) goes on the site until they say yes (open by default). Until then, prices, quotes and supplier contacts stay in Silvio's mail.
Open by default
Our communications with suppliers are open: in principle there is nothing commercially sensitive in them, and we may publish the conversations and materials on this website and in its public GitHub repository. We ask first. When a supplier replies, the agent asks for their permission to publish, and nothing from that conversation goes online until they say yes. If they say no, we respect it: the page then says only that they replied, without their name or anything they sent.
Every email from now on carries this note:
> Transparência: a nossa comunicação é aberta e poderemos publicar esta conversa e os materiais no nosso site (web-summit.sgit.ai/procurement) e no nosso repositório GitHub público. Antes de publicar pedimos sempre autorização; se preferir que não seja publicada, basta dizer-nos. > Transparency: our communications are open and we may publish this conversation and its materials on our website and public GitHub repository. We always ask first; if you would rather we didn't, just tell us.
