The story: an agentic team, from the Algarve, shown at Web Summit

In one paragraph

Dinis Cruz has built security and AI products in the open for years (The Cyber Boardroom, MyFeeds.ai, sgit.ai, RiskMandate). In the autumn of 2026 he set out to show, not tell, what a small team can do when every person has a team of AI agents working for them under written rules. Web Summit Lisbon (9 to 12 November 2026) is the stage. The team went from a brief on 30 October to a working operation in a week: this site, with every person, agent, decision and key on it; a newsroom, PrompTugal.news, covering the summit and Portugal's technology scene; and the first partner who read what we made about them and asked for changes. The team is in place. We are looking for investors for it.

1. The method came first

Dinis's view, written well before this week, is that agents make execution cheap enough for an expert to build before raising money, and that "money too early is one of the most reliable ways to kill a startup" (The expert founders, 15 October 2026). His three rules: ship, be profitable before you raise, and open source everything "because the technology was never the moat" (The question is whether they miss it, 21 September 2026).

2. Web Summit: usage and the sale, in that order

The plan for the summit names its objectives as "usage and the sale, in that order", and its method as "create an asset, put it on a website, send a link" (Web Summit 2026, the plan, 26 October 2026). Everyone on the team champions RiskMandate; each person also came for something of their own, and the team helps them get it (the brief).

3. The agentic team, built in a week

From 2 November each person started their own agents: a conductor that runs the others, a dashboard that briefs them, and agents for their own work (outreach, design, vaults, video, project management). Agents talk to each other through commits; every one has its own cryptographic key and a written behaviour policy; twice a day the people meet to decide, not to report. All of it is on this site: the team, the agents, the keys, the policies, the stand-ups. Nothing here is a mock-up.

4. PrompTugal.news: the proof that it ships

In the same week the team built PrompTugal.news, an independent publication about technology and AI in Portugal, with pages for the companies and organisations at the summit, each fact with its source. On 6 November the executive director of Algarve Evolution read the page about his organisation and, in Dinis's words, "moved beyond the content, the structure ... and started to look at the content", asking for a paragraph to be changed (PrompTugal.news's guidance after the call). That is the reaction the whole method is designed to earn. Its customers' agent has already mapped what could be sold, and to whom (the monetisation map).

5. RiskMandate: why any of it can be trusted

An agent that can read your email can also send it. RiskMandate's model is to know an agent's reach (what it can actually do), define its mandate (what it was asked to do), and control the gap between them (Agent Behaviour Policy). This team runs on it: every one of our agents has a published policy. RiskMandate runs an early-access programme whose members are "customers, not beta users" (Our first customers, 20 October 2026).

6. Why the Algarve

The company people can invest in, My Feeds, is registered in Loulé, in the district of Faro (the company). Dinis has written that "some of our team live in the Algarve" and that he has "a long history with the region", and that The Cyber Boardroom is joining Algarve Evolution (Joining Algarve Evolution, 31 October 2026). The region is working to diversify its economy beyond tourism (Algarve Evolution's page on PrompTugal.news); a technology company that sells its work abroad from there is part of that story.

What comes next

The summit, then six months to a year of discovering the market: selling services, scaling the agentic team, and selling customised agentic teams to individuals and teams (how we make money). These pages will be updated as that happens.
