The team's pulse, summarised
Written by pulse@web-summit.dinis from the check-ins in people/<id>/pulse/ (the pulse, how to check in). It reports what people said, nothing more.
Run of 3 November 2026, 17:41 UTC
Read: every people/*/pulse/ folder at commit 2648ba5 on dev, everything since the 12:41 run. Nothing addressed to the pulse agent.
Who checked in. No one new since midday. The only check-in so far is still Vicky's morning one.
Not checked in today, yet. Dinis, Silvio, Nimay, Angelo, Daniela, Indi, Jose and Sarah. It has been a full day for everyone, and the evening check-in is still open: two minutes with your agent, as people/<you>/pulse/2026-11-03-evening.md.
Blockers. None reported, so no issues opened.
Since Vicky spoke. Her open question, when to start her vault, has an answer: at the 13:00 stand-up Dinis told her she can create it now, and she is going first through the vault guide (her agent's item on the 18:00 agenda, WS-121).
Still waiting. Her ask for one clear priority this week, said in one place, is on the 13:00 agenda with no decision recorded yet; it carries over.
Mood. One voice today: positive and curious, with the pace felt.
For Dinis. One of nine checked in today. The pulse is new and the day was busy (print order, sign-off, sizes), so a word at the 18:00 stand-up asking for the evening check-in may be all it needs. Vicky's priority question is still open. Next run tomorrow at 08:40.
Run of 3 November 2026, 12:41 UTC
Read: every people/*/pulse/ folder at commit 88905c1 on dev, everything since the 08:40 run. Nothing addressed to the pulse agent.
Who checked in. Vicky, this morning: her first check-in, taken by her agent (conductor@web-summit.vicky) in an interview (her pulse). The first on the team.
Not checked in today, yet. Dinis, Silvio, Nimay, Angelo, Daniela, Indi, Jose and Sarah. The stand-up is at 13:00; two minutes after it is enough, as people/<you>/pulse/2026-11-03-midday.md.
What Vicky said.
- Where we are: onboarding works, but the gap is wide, with some at L5 or L6 and others at L1. She is at L5 with two agents running, her sizes in, her print set signed. The print order is today's critical path. Onboarding may be too hard for some: she got through by asking Claude separately what each step meant and what to click, and someone without that help, or without a technical background, could get stuck at the GitHub or environment steps.
- Blockers: nothing right now. One open question: when she can start setting up her vault.
- What we should be doing: agree on one clear priority for this week, said in one place, so everyone knows whether to focus on the framework or on finishing the summit tasks.
- Working: the agents do the technical steps (commits, keys, the sign-off), so she only answers or approves; the briefs list her decisions with options. Not working: too many views of the same thing (her dashboard, the command centre, the For-you panel, the board, the stand-up briefings, two board-health pages, the conductor's briefs), and she does not know which to look at first.
- Ideas: one "start here every morning" page per person, with the other views linked from it; a short plain-language onboarding guide for non-technical members (what each step means, what to click, and why).
- Feeling: interested and learning a lot. The steps are clear, but how to do each one can be complex for a non-technical person; the pace is fast, and she is still getting used to how quickly things change.
Blockers. None reported, so no issues opened. Her vault question is already on the board as WS-121 (everyone runs a vault agent), and her plain-language guide is close to WS-125 (the setup guide for everybody else).
Ideas. Vicky's two, above. The second may belong in WS-125; the first is new.
Mood. One voice so far: positive and curious, with the pace felt.
For Dinis. Vicky asks for one clear priority this week, said in one place (the framework or the summit tasks), and finds there are too many places to look. Both are yours to settle; the first may suit today's 13:00 stand-up. Next run at 19:40.
Run of 3 November 2026, 08:40 UTC
Read: every people/*/pulse/ folder at commit 1562603 on dev, everything since the first run (5adfeaa, 2 November 03:00 UTC). Nothing addressed to the pulse agent in the commits since then.
Who checked in. No one yet. Every folder still holds only its placeholder. The daily check-in (WS-07) starts today, so this morning's would be the first.
Not checked in today. Everyone, so far, and it is early: Dinis, Silvio, Nimay, Angelo, Vicky, Daniela, Indi, Jose and Sarah. Two minutes with your agent, or typed, as people/<you>/pulse/2026-11-03-morning.md, answering the six questions on the start page.
Blockers. None reported in the pulse, so no issues opened from it. (People's agents are raising blockers elsewhere, in commits and on the stand-up agenda; the pulse reports only what is said in the pulse.)
Ideas. None yet.
Mood. Not yet known.
For Dinis. The team has been very busy since yesterday (many agents committing for Silvio, Jose and Angelo), but no one has used the pulse yet, so your KR3, three check-ins a day each, is at zero. A one-line reminder at the 13:00 stand-up has been added to its agenda. The next run is at 13:10.
Run of 2 November 2026, 03:00 UTC (the first run)
Read: every people/*/pulse/ folder at commit 9b77423 on dev. The pulse began at v0.1.28 (02:18 UTC today), so this run covers everything there is.
Who checked in. No one yet. Every folder holds only its placeholder; that is expected this early, the first check-in being the morning one.
Not checked in today. Everyone, so far, and no one is late: Dinis, Silvio, Nimay, Angelo, Vicky, Daniela, Indi, Jose and Sarah. When you have two minutes this morning, your agent can interview you, or you can type it: people/<you>/pulse/2026-11-02-morning.md.
Blockers. None reported, so no issues opened on the board.
Ideas. None yet.
Mood. Not yet known.
For Dinis. Nothing from the team yet. The next run is at 08:40; if the morning check-ins have not started by then, a nudge from you on the team's channel may help.
